📋 About This Mod
Parallax Support
This mod retextures the nordic temple tile-set with high quality, ancient looking textures. The idea behind this retexture was to deliver an experience that feels like exploring ancient, unmapped ruins. Dungeons that are from a time long passed, holding stories and secrets as old as time itself. Rather than the mossy carved walls of vanilla, Temples of the Ancients sees runes scrawled into chiselled out hallways, giant stone block retaining walls holding chambers together, and sloppily cemented pillars keeping the ceilings up. Though a stark departure from vanilla, this retexture does aim to fit within the realm of the Elder Scrolls universe, so while inspiration was taking from real-world Norse culture, nothing lore-breaking should be present.
Naturally, this will be incompatible with anything else that retextures the same things. Be sure to give this mod priority, or overwrite existing files if you prefer its textures to something else in your load order that may conflict.

💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting issues.
- For 4K textures, ensure your GPU has enough VRAM (4GB+ recommended) to avoid stuttering.
- Place this mod early in your load order, before other texture overhauls, to ensure it takes priority.
