Teach Followers Spells Through Spell Tomes SE

Description:

Allows you to teach spells to followers by giving them spell tomes. Once taught, you can have followers forget spells by giving them the spell tome again.

How to teach a spell to a follower:

• []Talk to a follower and select the Give Spell Tome option.

  []Select the Teach spell option.

  []Give the follower a spell tome and they will learn the spell if they don't already know it.

  []The spell tome will be "destroyed" when the follower learns the spell.

  How to make a follower forget a spell:

  • []Talk to a follower and select the Give Spell Tome option.

    []Select the Forget spell option.

    []Give the follower a spell tome and they will forget the spell if they already know it.

    []The spell tome will NOT be "destroyed" when the follower forgets the spell, and will be returned to the player.

      Versions:

      • []Includes a MCM that allows you to see which spells you have taught to a follower through spell tomes.

        []To view the learned spells, simply move your in-game crosshair over a follower then go to the MCM and view the list of spells they've learned.

      • []Does NOT include a MCM. You will have to remember the spells you taught to each follower.

        Q: Do I have to have SKSE64?

        A: Yes. The mod will not work without it.

        Q: I taught spells to a follower but they won't use them. Why?

        A: There are several reasons why.

        • []Your follower doesn't have enough magicka to cast the spell.

          []Your follower doesn't have high enough skill in that school of magic to cast the spell. (Example: Followers need a skill of 50 in destruction to cast Fireball)

          []The AI of your follower doesn't see the spell as useful in combat.
