Tamrielic DirtCliff Moss and Lichen (2K and 4K)

Description

In short: This is NOT a replacement. It does not edit any of the original work, it's just hand-picked textures from the original mod made into a smaller mod for those that wish to remove some work in heavy modded games.

I did not find many moss textures I loved for dirt cliffs. Seeing flower beds and lush grass flat textures on top of cliffs broke a bit the immersion from how it should really be. Cliffs have barely any dirt to have long roots and big plants, so it's just normal to see short plants and flat moss which is exactly what this mod has. I also use MANY other 3D grass mods that cover most of the forest grounds.

The Tamrielic Landscape texture pack is a beautiful mod but is a very large mod to download. So for those wanting to cover only the moss and lichen, these are ciathyza's moss and lichen textures with included cliff meshes from his mod Tamrielic Textures SE - Landscapes.

I selected all files showing any kind of moss. This includes tundra, some rocks and some grass areas such as The Reach.

Compatibility:

• []These are just textures and mesh files, no ESPs so this will NOT take a place in your load order and will be compatible with pretty much any mod that do not change the files covered in this mod.

  []Comes in conflict with Better Dirt Cliffs and Alphas but if you manage your load order properly, you can manage to make both mods work together. Suggested load order would be THIS mod first then load Better Dirt Cliffs and Alphas after which should overwrite or load AFTER the mesh (nif) files only.

  What's the difference with No Tundra?

  I have tested MANY grass and landscape mods over the years. I have experience in modding and using Vortex and individual file management for specific load orders. BUT, not everyone is capable or wants to go through the boring process of deciding which individual file is going to be used by which mod. I have come to a conclusion that the Tundra files from Tamrielic Dirtcliffs are not necessarely needed. I covered moss but other mods do a very good job for the tundra regions. So, to remove the hassle of you managing which file should be loaded when and to keep those cliff moss textures, I did the sorting for you by removing the tundra texture to prevent any conflicts with other mods and make you modding easier.

  NOTE: Better Dirt Cliffs and Alphas will still need to be loaded AFTER but for the rest, let this mo
