📋 About This Mod

Automatic multi-stage scene progression for OStim Standalone, powered by a fast SKSE scene database.

Stage Flow listens to OStim scenes and, when it detects a valid third-party multi-stage animation chain, takes over the flow and progresses the scene automatically. It supports player scenes and scenes started by other OStim mods, with furniture-aware matching, UI hiding, manual stage control, reroll support, and MCM customization.

Requirements

OStim Standalone 7. 35+

Third-party multi-stage OStim animation packs, such as Anubs, Billyy, or similar packs

Stage Flow does not start scenes by itself. You still need OStim itself or another OStim scene starter.

Important Compatibility Notice

Stage Flow actively controls an OStim thread while it is running a multi-stage animation.

Because of this, mods that also actively control or replace animations inside the same OStim thread should be considered incompatible with Stage Flow's automatic takeover mode.

Examples include:

OStim On Demand

OStim Romance

OPrivacy

Other mods that automatically change, advance, replace, or end OStim animations

Running two mods that attempt to control the same OStim thread at the same time can cause unexpected animation changes, broken scenes, or potentially a CTD.

If you use one of the mods listed above and experience problems, you can try using Stage Flow only after manually selecting an animation:

1. Disable On OStim Start in the Stage Flow settings.

2. Enable After Manual Stage 1 Selection.

3. Start the OStim scene normally.

4. Manually select Stage 1 of the multi-stage animation you want.

5. Stage Flow will wait for the configured delay, then take over that exact animation chain.

This avoids Stage Flow attempting to control the thread immediately when another mod starts it.

In theory, this should reduce conflicts with other OStim thread-control mods, but I have not personally tested this workaround with every incompatible mod.

What This Mod Does

Automatically detects valid multi-stage OStim animation chains.

Starts from stage 1 and progresses through the chain.

Hides the native OStim UI during controlled player scenes for a cleaner view.

Supports scenes started by the player or by other OStim mods.

Supports background NPC OStim scenes without taking over the player UI or hotkeys.

Tries to match furniture scenes with suitable furniture animation chains.

Allows manual stage advance with `Space`.

Allows rerolling the current animation chain with the reroll hotkey.

Uses an SKSE DLL scene database for fast scene lookup and safer filtering.

What This Mod Doe

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Stage Flow for OStim Standalone automatically progresses multi-stage OStim animation scenes, using a fast SKSE database to detect and take over valid third-party animation chains. It supports player scenes and scenes from other OStim mods, with furniture-aware matching, UI hiding, manual stage control, reroll, and MCM options. Requires OStim Standalone 7.35+, SKSE, and third-party animation packs like Anubs or Billyy.

✨ Key Features

Automatic multi-stage scene progression for OStim Standalone
Powered by a fast SKSE scene database
Supports player scenes and scenes started by other OStim mods
Furniture-aware matching
UI hiding, manual stage control, reroll support, and MCM customization
Compatibility workaround for mods like OStim On Demand via manual stage selection

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Solid community trust with 167 endorsements and over 8k downloads
  • Takes the tedium out of multi-stage scenes by auto-advancing them
  • Includes MCM customization and manual override options for fine control

⚠️ Cons

  • Incompatible with popular mods like OStim On Demand, OStim Romance, and OPrivacy in auto mode
  • Requires third-party animation packs (Anubs, Billyy, etc.) to function at all
  • Actively controls OStim threads, which can cause broken scenes or CTDs if conflicts arise
🎯 Is This For You?
For OStim users who want smoother, hands-off progression through multi-stage animations. If you rely on mods that also control OStim threads, you'll need to tweak settings or skip this. Not for you if you prefer manual control over every scene step.
📦 Install:Medium· 5-10 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have OStim Standalone 7.35 or newer and SKSE installed before adding Stage Flow.
  • If you use OStim On Demand or similar mods, disable 'On OStim Start' and enable 'After Manual Stage 1 Selection' to avoid conflicts.
  • Start a scene manually and pick stage 1 of a multi-stage animation to let Stage Flow take over after the configured delay.
