📋 About This Mod
Essentially all this mod does is add 0. 08 points of damage per skill point in One-handed and Two-handed. That means that with One-handed and Two-handed at level 100, you get extra 16 points of unarmed damage. For non-beast races, this means 20 points of total damage without any bonuses, from the original 4. For beast races, that is at least 28. Possibly more if using race overhauls.
For example, if you're start off with 25 One-handed and Two-handed, that means that your race by default will deal 4 extra points of damage per punch, which is double the usual amount. To be clear the bonuses are additive, you get the same bonus for skill no matter what your race's initial unarmed damage is.
I made this because I didn't like at all that you can become an absolute Lord of Destruction with weapons, but can't do more than 4 damage with punches (except with beast races). What the heck. It's a somewhat mild bonus, but it makes a difference enough to be satisfying. Think of it as an add-on for an unarmed build. Or simply an immersion tweak. And since it affects other NPCs, it should affect the brawling experience somewhat.
It only works with two free hands. Don't be silly. Drop that goofy shield and fight with your bare hands. NPCs only engage in unarmed combat that way anyway.
There is a version that scales with Light Armor only instead, if you want it to scale how it does in Ordinator or Vokrii (weird choice of perk tree, but I guess it's hard to justify it with any of them). In that case, every Light Armor point increases damage by 0. 16 points.
Have fun and go punch the lights out of some bandits.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 226 endorsements and over 72k downloads.
- Subtle scaling keeps unarmed viable without making it overpowered.
- ESL-flagged, so it's light on your load order.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires SPID, so you need that dependency installed.
- Only affects damage scaling, not other unarmed aspects like reach or stagger.
- Potential compatibility issues with other mods that alter unarmed damage or perks.
For Skyrim players who want unarmed combat to scale with their weapon skills without a full overhaul. If you're a punch-cat or monk build enthusiast, this is a must-have. Skip if you prefer unarmed to stay flat or if you don't want to add SPID as a dependency.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure SPID is installed and up to date, as this mod relies on it to distribute the perk.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting other SPID configs.
- Check your load order to ensure SPID loads before this mod.
