📋 About This Mod
All those unfortunate bandits, hunters and forsworn who have died in the wilderness ... well, they are still around ...
All over Skyrim people have met their fate while wandering deep into the woods or across the mountains. Untimely deaths, accidents, killed by bandits or
predators ... They may be dead, but they are not gone. You will find them still to this day, roaming about as specters where they died.
Don’t get too close or they will attack you. Or maybe that’s what you want? Afterall, their remains are still there somewhere, and their loot, too …
This mod places roughly 250 specters all across Skyrim, only outdoors, usually a bit remote. The will only appear at night time.
Depending on the difficulty level you choose you may only come across a part of them in your game.
(There is a reduced version as well, which only places some 90 specters if you prefer them less frequent.)
The specters will always be 1. 5 times the level of the player, so handle them with care. Close to where you saw them first you will typically find their skeleton with decent random (and leveled) loot.
PS: The skeleton texture in my images is Bloody Skeleton, and the ghost shader you see is from Spookier Ghosts - both are not included, your skeletons and ghost effects may look different.
Upgrading from 1. 0 to 2. 0: Simply overwrite.
ESL-flagged.
Uses any character models and textures you may have installed.
Can be added any time during gameplay.
Would not suggest removing it – like most mods.
