Sowables of Skyrim - Grow Tomatoes SSE

This is a mesh and texture replacement for the grow-able tomatoes added by Grow Tomatoes. The meshes/textures will also work as replacements for other mods that use the resources from Grow Tomatos SSE, such as JK's Whiterun Outskirts.

  []The mesh file adds a dirt mound under the tomato plants so they do not have exposed roots, converts meshes to SSE format, and makes some other minor tweaks.

  []The Base Object Swapper option allows you to swap some of the potato plants for tomato plants. Grow Tomatos SSE Port does have an option that does this, but it does it via the esp so it requires patches to add tomatos to new farms. With Base Object Swapper, there is no need for patches. "It just works."

  Full Installation (allows for growing tomato plants and has option to swap some potato plants for tomato plants)

  • []Download and install Grow Tomatos SSE Port (the basic esl option). This is needed to add the tomato plants to the game.

    []Download and install the meshes from this mod

    []Download and install the desired texture size from this mod (available in 1k and 2k) and overwrite/merge with the meshes

    []If you want a chance to swap 40% of the potato plants for tomato plants, download the optional Tomato Base Object Swapper file from the Optional Files. This requires Base Object Swapper to work. Overwrite/Merge the base object swapper file with the main file.

    []If you use Seasons of Skyrim, there is a file to add support for it in the Optional Files. Download it and let it overwrite/merge with the main file.

    Replace Textures Only (if you don't want plant-able tomatoes and have another mod that adds them to the game)

    • []Download the texture size of your choice and install with your mod manager of choice

      []Let the textures from this file overwrite the textures from the tomato plant mod you're overwriting
