📋 About This Mod
Changes in v1. 1:
Updated the textures to look slightly better. (imo)
Recreated the shinemap in the Normals for a more sugary look.
I've been searching for the perfect Sweet Roll for some time, but couldn't quite find it, so I made my own version of it, but not without the help of PandoraTremere! Please Endorse their version of the mod first if you like this, since I borrowed the creme-topping part from their SweetRoll mod, with permission of course. If else, it's a brand new texture, plus re-baked normal maps with some fixes.
Hope you'll enjoy these new quality Sweet Rolls! Remember to keep them close at all times! If someone does steal them, you know the guards won't help!
A straightforward texture upgrade for Skyrim's Sweet Rolls, offering 2K and 1K options. With 555 endorsements and nearly 400k downloads, it's a popular choice for players wanting crisper food items without performance hits. Last updated in 2020, it remains a reliable cosmetic enhancement.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 555 endorsements and nearly 400k downloads—clearly a go-to for food texture overhauls.
- Offers both 2K and 1K options, so you can balance visuals with performance on lower-end rigs.
- Zero hassle installation—just drop the files in and you're done.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—may not be actively maintained, though it's a simple texture mod so compatibility is likely fine.
- Only affects Sweet Rolls—if you want a full food overhaul, you'll need to grab other mods.
- No preview images or detailed instructions, but the mod is straightforward enough that you won't need them.
For Skyrim players who notice the blurry vanilla Sweet Rolls and want a quick visual upgrade without overhauling all food. Also great for mod pack builders who want consistent high-res textures. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Choose the 1K version if you're on a low-end PC or want to save VRAM—the difference is barely noticeable in-game.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, just download and install normally; no special load order needed.
- Pair this with other texture mods for a consistent look, but make sure they don't overwrite each other—load order matters.
