📋 About This Mod

Snazzy Common Wardrobes - Base Object Swapper

Using Base Object Swapper, randomly distribute 3 different custom,

3D object filled

Common Wardrobes to all vanilla and mod-added Common Wardrobes.

MivKRb7XRZo

Mod Features:

~ 3 custom Common Wardrobes filled with actual clothing and items that would normally be lootable from them.

~ Wardrobe doors swing all the way open prior to taking you to the loot menu, revealing the clothes and items inside!

~ Using Base Object Swapper, randomly replaces any vanilla or other mod-added Commonwardrobe01 with one of these three new varieties.

~ Uses any SMIM or SMIM-based Common Furniture texture replacer of your choice (SMIM, Rustic Skyland, Noble Skyrim, etc.)

~ Esl-flagged plugin

Compatibility:

  • []Must use with Base Object Swapper to get the distributed variety to all Noblewardrobes01

[]May conflict with other mods that add CommonWardrobe01 models in a funky way (inside walls, scaled real small/large, etc).  Clipping/size issues can be fixed by adding the offending references as exceptions to the BOS SWAP.ini

[]Requires SMIM or SMIM-based mesh/texture replacer

[]Patch for Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes included in Optional Files

[]Patch for Skyrim 3D Furniture included in Optional Files

[]Patch for Rally's Common Furniture included in Optional Files

[]Optional HQ Versions requiring textures from Basic Dining Set Replacer,  JS Purses and Septims SE, and Realistic HD Baskets Remastered or Forgotten Retex Project

    []Bethesda for Skyrim and CK

[]Static Mesh Improvement Mod by brumbek

✨ Key Features

Randomly distributes 3 custom Common Wardrobe models to all vanilla and mod-added Common Wardrobes
Requires Base Object Swapper to function
Compatible with mod-added wardrobes, ensuring broad coverage
Lightweight and performance-friendly, as it swaps existing objects rather than adding new ones

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 1,269 endorsements and 1.6M downloads, so it's clearly popular and stable
  • Works with mod-added wardrobes, so it plays nice with other mods that add furniture
  • Adds visual variety without bloating your load order or tanking performance

⚠️ Cons

  • Requires Base Object Swapper, so you need to install that dependency first
  • Only affects Common Wardrobes—if you want variety for other furniture, you'll need other mods
  • Cosmetic only, so if you're looking for gameplay changes, this won't add any
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want to spice up the look of common wardrobes without manually placing objects. It's perfect for modders who already use Base Object Swapper and want a seamless, performance-friendly visual upgrade. Skip if you're not interested in cosmetic tweaks or don't want to install another dependency.
📦 Install:Medium· 5-10 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have Base Object Swapper installed and enabled before adding this mod, or the wardrobes won't change.
  • Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to install this mod and its dependency—it'll handle load order automatically.
  • If you're using other mods that alter Common Wardrobes, check for compatibility patches or load order conflicts to ensure the swaps work correctly.
