SMIM Upper Furniture And Other Fixes (2K - 4K HD)

DESCRIPTION

SMIM is a great mod, but the installer doesn't give you any option to choose the HD textures of the upper furniture. The upper furniture pieces were designed so that they will blend in with the noble furniture. In the game, it is very common for upper and noble furniture to be mixed together. The HD texture options ("Smooth" and "Weathered Dark") for the upper furniture are actually included in SMIM, but there isn't any option for them in the installer. This would not be an issue if the installer doesn't mismatch the upper furniture textures with the common furniture textures. However, it does indeed mismatch them unless you choose the low-res texture option. Not only do the mismatched SMIM upper furniture look bad, but they look even worst when mixed with the noble furniture. This mod fixes the error in the installer by providing the correctly packaged textures. It has 2K and 4K options for "Smooth" and "Weathered Dark" upper furniture textures. This is also a fix for XilaMonstrr's SMIM 4K - Cleaned and Upscaled Textures for Static Mesh Improvement Mod. That mod also includes the textures but also has no option to install them. The 2K textures are the original textures that comes with SIMM. The 4K textures are the cleaned and upscaled textures from XilaMonstrr's mod. The "Smooth Dark" options are edited versions of XilaMonstrr's SMIM 4K textures and have new normals. They are made to look better and to blend in better with ElSopa - Noble Furniture HD SE. The main options will only fix the upper furniture. They don't affect textures for common and noble furniture.

  INSTALLATION AND USAGE

  Add the contents of archive to the Data directory manually or with a mod manager. Install this mod after SMIM and any other SMIM texture mod that affects the upper furniture. If using a mod manager, place this after SMIM and any other SMIM texture mod that affects upper furniture in the installation order. This mod can be install after the 4K SMIM Furniture Improvement mod if you prefer the upper furniture to have smoother legs. Install this mod after SMIM 4K - Cleaned and Upscaled Textures for Static Mesh Improvement Mod, if you are also using that mod. T
