Not an actual update to this mod, but I have been told that the Monster Race Crash Fix mod may stop crashes while attacking when polymorphed.  Polymorphs are still accessible by console if anyone wants to try it.

For anyone wondering about the Xbox version, I uploaded it for Xbox on Bethesda.net and since then it repeatedly disappears and reappears without explanation.  I reuploaded it yesterday and finally got an email from them that they are taking it down due to copyright issues.  I am not going to play tug-of-war with them over it at this point, but anyone has permission to reupload/transfer it themselves through SSE Creation Kit. It can be done by anyone with the PC version of SSE and is fairly simple even if you don't know how to use Creation Kit.

Instructions for how to do so: First download it from Bethesda.net, then once inside, click file in the top left, check skyrim.esm and update.esm, scroll through your list of mods to find pony_no_crash_mod.esp, check and then highlight it and click "set as active file" then OK. Click yes to all error warnings. Once it is loaded, click file again, select "login to Bethesda.net" and put in your info (you need a bethesda.net account first). Then click upload plugin and archive to bethesda.net. It may ask you to create an archive, click yes and it should be automatic. Then just fill in the information about the mod and upload. You may have to go to Bethesda.net and "publish" it.

10/14/17:  Added Crimes Against Nature addon under optional files.  Fancypants (author of Crimes Against Nature) created this addon, it replaces most of the companion models with alternate versions that are less broken and have more animation and facegen data, though currently I am still not able to get speech animation working.  This requires Crimes Against Nature to be installed to work.  Load order should be Crimes Against Nature --> pony mod --> CaN pony addon.  If there are any graphics issues, make sure pony_no_crash_mod CaN addon.bsa is in your data directory, or download the optional loose files and unzip them into the data directory.

Added Celestia companion, voiced by itsannachloem, and several dozen other voice clips (from the show) to the existing companions.  Rebalanced most companions to be similar in damage output.  Applejack and Maud now have a flat damage boost at level 1 instead of a 50% boost and are no longer weaker at low level or stronger at high level compared to the others.  Others' cast on hit chances were increased.  All companions now have 25% resist magic and a passive armor buff to compensate for followers/summons now being affected by game difficulty settings.
