📋 About This Mod

If you've ever tried cooking in Skyrim, you've probably run into one big issue: the lack of salt piles. This mod is my take on solving that

issue by providing more chances to get more salt piles. The first time you start the game with the mod installed, Simply Overflowing Salt will run a script

that injects leveled lists with 3 additional instances of Salt Piles with three different quantities: 5, 10, and 15. You can get any combination of these three when a vendor pulls from these lists, so there's an (extremely unlikely) chance for a vendor to have 30+ salt available to purchase. That's it. It should be compatible with everything.

If you install this on an existing game, you will need to wait for vendor inventories to reset.

This mod is open domain. Feel free to use it, redistribute it, and modify it as you please. Source files are included in the zip.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's a simple mod, drop the files into your Mods folder and ensure you have EAC disabled if playing modded.
  • If you're using other loot mods, load order might matter—place this one after to avoid overwrites.
  • Test in a new world or after a restart to see the new salt spawns take effect.
