Simply More Skill Trainers

In the base game nearly all skill trainers in Skyrim come with complications, want to train in Block? Too bad, Larak requires you to be Blood-Kin and Njada will only train you if you join the Companions. Restoration? Colette wants you to join the College, Florentius needs you to recruit him for the Dawnguard and Keeper Carcette dies.

This mod rectifies that, it adds a master+ level trainer for every skill around Skyrim with no strings attached, if you have the money they will train you. No guilds, no quests, no complications.

These trainers have the same rules as regular trainers but they will train your skill to level 100. This is done using a custom trainer class which uses the same vanilla functionality, so in theory this should also be compatible with mods that alter trainer mechanics.

I've tried to put the actors in places where they kind of make sense and you won't be tripping over them, and ideally they don't look out of place in whichever part of Skyrim they are in. They have been placed with gameplay and compatibility in mind, for example trainers that reside inside a shop will leave that shop when it closes to keep out of the way of users playing on a thief character.

Trainers that specialise in magic now also sell spell tomes related to their school. For example, the Conjuration trainer sells Conjuration spell tomes, the Illusion trainer sells Illusion tomes, and so on. They use the vanilla leveled lists, so will in theory sell tomes added by other mods, provided those mods add the tomes to the same lists.

There are two versions to choose from:

  []Protected edition - Gives all trainers the "protected" flag, meaning they can only be killed by the player [/]

  You can ask trainers added by this mod where to find other trainers, and they'll give you a miscellaneous quest to find them along with a map marker. There are also two optional files available to add this dialogue

  to city/town guards and innkeepers, similar to asking guards for directions in the cities of World of Warcraft. Again, this is done without any edits to vanilla references. Any guard can have this dialogue so long as they are part of the GuardDialogueFaction, and any Innkeeper provided they are part of the JobInnkeeper faction. You can use both of these optional files together, or neither.

  These optional files are .esl flagged, and can be merged with the main file using Z-Edit.
