Simply Fantastic Daedric Armors

A project I created for my personal use and decided to upload. This is a simple re-texture & mesh replacer for the Vanilla Daedric armor

using modified assets from mmccarthy4. Replaces male & female armor, helmets, and shield. The lore is vague, but seems to agree that the armor involves merging ebony with a Daedric Vestige - I decided that this allows for some variation, and as such offer several themes. Matches well with my own Simply Brutal Daedric Weapons replacer shown in the screenshots.

Tremendous thanks to mmccarthy4 for creating the original meshes/textures & giving me permission to use them! I only re-textured them, adjusted them in NIFScope, and recompiled them as drop-in replacers. Full credit is due to them for their hard work in modeling & crafting these amazing armor sets.

There are 3 versions to choose from:

• []Noble Daedric: the royal immortal. Something a bit more ornate with a matching hooded helm.

  []Gothic Plate: the corrupted knight. Aggressive, dark, and brutal.

  []Steelthorn Plate: the ruthless warrior. Glorious, shining, and unstoppable.

    []NEW: Optional version with . ESP plug-in. Created by JamieArcane, it: "adds all the variants as items into the game, includes the entire Noble and Steelthorn Sets, alongside the Curiass and gloves from the Gothic Set, and the Alt Helmet design. Since the Gothic and Steelthorn Helmets, boots and shield were similar they were excluded. Everything has crafting recipes, tempering recipes and have been added to the leveled lists.

    So anywhere a regular Daedric armor would show up, one of the variants can be found." Please note I did not create this myself, and thus I will not be supporting it. All credit & any questions & credit should go to them!

  Entirely lore-friendly to the purpose of daedric armor, because the purpose of daedric armor is to look BADASS.

  NO . ESP for the main file! This is a stand-alone set which will be part of my larger .esp-less weapons & armor replacer coming soon. (I will not be making standalone versions at this time, since I am focused on getting the whole project out).

  Notes:

  • []Primarily 2k textures with some 4k, heavily modified from the originals.

    []Cubemaps assigned to the armor are unique and can be exchanged with one of your own choosing or from another mod - feel free to experiment!
