Simply Brutal Daedric Weapons

A project I created for my personal use and decided to upload. This is a simple re-texture & mesh replacer for the Vanilla Daedric weapons using modified assets from  mmccarthy4, RonnieMagnum and OswaldTwistedbeard.

This is a stand-alone set which will be part of my larger .esp-less weapons & armor replacer coming soon.

• []Cleaner, more realistic weapons with a dark Gothic feel.

  []NEW poleaxe to replace the warhammer - fits the animations perfectly!

  []Mostly 2k textures with 4k for the greatsword (2k alternate greatsword textures included, just rename the spadoneSM.dds, _m.dds, and _n.dds files to remove the SM (e.g. 'spadone.dds')

  []Custom textures to give a darker weathered look and consistent red theme.

  []Custom environmental cubemap to allow you to choose your appearance. Default is an iron & red tone to provide a slightly otherwordly red glow and acknowledge the original design. Alternate steel version is also provided, just rename textures/cubemaps/daedricSTEEL.dds to daedric.dds and delete the original. In my own game I used bloodshinybright_e from SC's Cubemaps by ShinglesCat. The author does not allow reuploading of their files, so I am unable to include this.

• []Most importantly - NO . ESP!

Screenshots do not show final textures, some tweaks & improvements were made after I took them, mostly to fix some mistakes on the bow and make normal maps & environmental maps more consistent.

Coming Soon:

-an improved greatsword model (the current version had collision issues I was unable to fix)

-alternate warhammer model (once I find a good one!)

-some adjustments as needed to make things more consistent.

-replacing the nordic battleaxe medallion with something more daedric.

-a complete replacer for the default Daedric armor set (If anyone is skilled with simple mesh editing to remove some clipping issues and would like to contribute, please contact me).

-lower/higher-res textures as seperate files (if requested).
