📋 About This Mod
Description
Saadia allegedly caused the downfall of an entire city in Hammerfell during the Great War, yet the bounty on her head is... 500 gold? That is almost enough to buy a low level Steel sword with a fire enchantment on it! I guess it's fair to mention that Kematu only offers you a "portion" of the reward, but even that is absurd since how big could the real bounty on Saadia be, 1000? I mean c'mon Bethesda 😅
Having gotten that out of the way, this mod is a light touch-up of some vanilla side quests which had absurdly low rewards or barely any rewards at all. Most of the side quests are fine, primarily those granting unique weapons and armors or Dragon Priest masks, thus they have not been touched. But missions such as "In My Time Of Need" or "Blood On The Ice" take so long to finish and send you to so many places only to reward nothing of value at all, so I went ahead and attempted to bring their rewards more in line with the other side quests. The affected side quests have had their gold rewards increased where applicable and have had some extra items added here and there in hopes of making them less disappointing to finish.
Oh, and Anska also received a quick touch-up to her wardrobe because why the hell is she wearing a dead otter?
Compatibility
Due to the number of scripts being changed (even minimally) by a mod such as this, it is almost impossible to keep track of every single mod out there that would require a patch made. However, as a rule of thumb: if you have any mods that tackle any of the same affected quests such as Jay Serpa's quest overhauls or any other similar ones that already cover the updating of those specific rewards, make sure to let them overwrite this mod.
Affected Quests
The Lost Expedition
Laid to Rest
The Man Who Cried Wolf
The Wolf Queen Awakened
In My Time Of Need
The Blessings of Nature
Blood on the Ice
Kyne's Sacred Trials
A Scroll For Anska
Infiltration
My other revamp mods
Thieves' Guild Rewards Revamp
Thane Rewards Revamp
Miscellaneous Quests Rewards Revamp

Companions Rewards Revamp
Side Quests Rewards Revamp is a light gameplay mod for Skyrim that increases gold rewards and adds extra items to several vanilla side quests with underwhelming payouts, such as In My Time Of Need and Blood On The Ice. It also tweaks Anska's outfit. For players who want more satisfying quest rewards without overhauling the game.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fixes the absurdly low rewards on quests like In My Time Of Need and Blood On The Ice, making them worth the effort.
- Lightweight and focused—only touches 8 quests, so it won't overhaul your whole game.
- Community-approved with 103 endorsements and over 14k downloads, so plenty of players are using it.
⚠️ Cons
- Script changes mean potential conflicts with other quest overhaul mods—you'll need to manage load order carefully.
- Only affects a handful of quests, so if you're looking for a broader rewards overhaul, this won't cover everything.
- The description cuts off mid-list (ends with 'K'), so the full list of affected quests isn't clear—might miss some you care about.
For Skyrim players who hate spending an hour on a quest only to get 500 gold. If you're tired of Blood On The Ice's paltry payout or want Anska to stop wearing roadkill, this is for you. Skip if you want a full economy overhaul or if you already use quest mods that change these rewards.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you use quest overhaul mods like JaySerpa's, let them overwrite this mod to avoid conflicts.
- Load order matters—place this mod early so other quest mods can override its changes.
- Check the mod page for the full quest list since the description is cut off.
