📋 About This Mod

Skysa is cool but removes side power attacks, it annoys me so I made this.

Your sheath button becomes the power attack button, you can assign a hotkey for sheathing in the MCM

If you're using a controller I recommend using gamepad++ or a custom control.txt in order to have a free hotkey

Edit : This only concerns Skysa before 1. 8, it works with ABR and vanilla though

installation :

Install it like any other mod, and activate it in the mcm

The mod modifies 1hm_behavior.hkx for sprinting power attacks to work well, so if you have any conflict launch nemesis and tick the box

Deactivate the mod in the mcm before uninstalling

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community favorite with 3,046 endorsements and over 164k downloads.
  • Simple concept that adds real depth to combat control.
  • Enables directional power attacks with SkySA, a big plus for advanced players.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2021, so it might not be compatible with the latest Skyrim updates or mods.
  • Requires SkySA to unlock its full potential, so it's not standalone for that feature.
  • Potential conflicts with other combat mods that alter attack inputs.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want finer control over their attacks, especially those using SkySA for advanced combat. If you're a casual player who doesn't care about directional power attacks, you might not need this. Skip if you're happy with the default attack scheme.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're using SkySA, make sure to configure the new power attack button in the MCM or keybind settings.
  • Test the new bindings in a safe area to get used to the separate buttons before heading into combat.
  • Check for compatibility patches if you use other combat mods that modify attack inputs.
