Description:

These are the hair textures I made from scratch last year to practice hair grooming, for KS (yes I know, who cares, this is the only hair mod I ever use) hairdos specifically.

The mod covers only a handful of hairstyles, around 186 styles or so. I hoped I could finish the entire pack for funsies, but alas - my plans were crushed by burnout and something else that suddenly dropped on my head, so I've decided to release and forget about it.

The mod comes in 8k, 4k and 2k, all textures compressed in dxt5.

All screenshots were taken with 8k textures.

This mod is a companion mod to my vanilla hair retex: LE and SE

Unlike the sister retex mod, unless something happens, this mod won't be updated. It comes as is with all its vices and virtues.

- New detailed scratch made textures (color, transparency, normal and specular maps), rendered in 8k, downsampled to 4k and 2k;

- The textures are lighter than previously, and despite having color, they look great with whites (making grayscale obsolete);

- Hairstyles covered: Acerola, Acid, Adnis, Adonis, Adrienne, Aikea, all Butterflies, all J, O, U, W, X, Y, Z styles, 83 Sky styles I'm too drained to list and most importantly HAIRLINES;

- No grayscale provided at the time because holy shit look at that file size, I ain't going thru that again.

Installation/uninstallation:

Please do not install these textures manually. Use mod managers for both downloading and installation. Seriously.

Known issues:

- 8k uses a ton of VRAM, don't use it unless you're crazy;

- 8k may freeze your game upon hair selection in racemenu;

- The specular may be way too shiny, adjust your specular settings in ENB or tweak the hair nifs speculars. Or be crazy and edit the normal maps and specs;

- I mean, well, okay, specular's on me, I tested the textures in nifskope and they looked absolutely beautiful, but now it's too late to turn back;

- There may be screw ups with transparency that I've missed;

- When I say 8k is heavy - I mean it, choose version wisely;

- Do not mix and match this mod and the sister mod - at best you'll have
