SAVIIK'S SOLITUDE OVERHAUL

This mod is my take on a Solitude Overhaul. I wanted to give the Imperial Capital of Skyrim some much-needed density by adding more medieval townhouses without adding new city parts or messing too much with the city layout.

The city now feels much more like a cramped medieval city, with it's own poorer district near the graveyard. Many of the new buildings used are ported from The Witcher 3's Novigrad, made to use vanilla textures. As such, the city should technically work with whatever Solitude Texture mod you're using. I recommend Skyland, as that is the textures I personally used when making this mod.So what's the catch?

At the moment, the new houses are purely decorative as they do not have interiors. This might be a turn-off for some people but I personally don't mind it as much. I might flesh out the interiors and add some NPC's but at the moment I am a bit tired of Solitude, and I probably missed some issues which a fresh set of eyes can spot way quicker. I'm releasing this as it is in a playable state, but the more people are playing with it, the easier it is to find and report bugs to squash. I am also open to suggestions about what some of the buildings could be if/when interiors are added.

The Blue Palace courtyard wasn't altered as I myself use Skyfall's Blue Palace Courtyard, highly recommend it alongside this mod. I also recommend Solitude Clock tower.

COMPATABILITY

This mod probably needs patches for other Solitude overhauls. A patch for JK's skyrim is provided but I personally don't use that mod so it is provided as-is. People are free to make and upload patches to this mod, no permission needed from me, although I would appreciate a heads-up. A patch for missives is also provided. Generate LOD with DynDOLOD.
