📋 About This Mod
RMB SPIDified - Heavy Legion makes all Heavy Legion armours standalone, performs consistency tweaks, and creates & distributes outfits across the world to Imperial Soldiers.
Because it uses a unique blend of SkyPatcher and SPID, it avoids the need for compatibility patches -- and should work better with other mods in general. You can even use it alongside my patch for New Legion, for increased diversity.
The installation package is also bundled with a few installation options, to tailor to your wants and needs. For example, you can choose to add crafting recipes for all of the Heavy Legion armours - with or without faction restrictions (whether or not you must be an Imperial Soldier).
Why should you use this?
My core framework provides a wide variety of keywords that are designed to be mod-agnostic. This means keywords are distributed to Imperial Soldiers from any and all mods - and then Spell Perk Item Distributed (SPID) is used to give these NPCs outfits!
In addition to this, I use SkyPatcher to build and add to outfit lists - so Imperial Soldiers may draw from a pool of outfits, which can be added to by other mods/patches (such as my New Legion patch, mentioned earlier) to maximise equipment diversity.
• Scriptless implementation
• ESL Light Plugin (doesn't use a slot) to define the outfits
• Includes a modified .esp from the original mod, with all equipment made fully standalone and vanilla edits removed
• Includes consistency edits for all the (now standalone) armours - their stats and names should make sense
• Compatible with Bodyslide patches, as mesh paths are preserved
• Introduces (20) new outfits, used in outfit distribution
• FOMOD Option to add recipes for all of the items - you can also choose to restrict the recipes if you're not an Imperial Soldier
• Constructible Object Custom Keyword System support if you grab the patch from here
• Works seamlessly with my patch for New Legion, if you also use it
• Imperial Soldier Distribution is handled within "rmb_2_shared_legion_outfits_DISTR.ini"
Balance notes
Each armour is balanced loosely around the following materials:
• Imperial Light: Leather
• Imperial Heavy: Steel
• Imperial Legate: Steel Plate
