📋 About This Mod

This plugin was built on the RLOInteriors add-on. If I choose to create a version based on the full version of RLO, I will do so.

RLO does a great job at improving the lighting in numerous places throughout Skyrim, but in my opinion its RGB color settings for the Default Torch light was awful. At best, some places would have a small tint of orange, at worse, some places were entirely orange! It looked like ass. So I restored the vanilla Skyrim RGB colors for the Default Torch light, while keeping the rest of RLO's changes to this record.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This is a small compatibility patch for Skyrim players who prefer the original torch color but want RLO's other interior lighting changes.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Tiny patch that does exactly what it says—no bloat
  • Community-tested with 212 endorsements and 7,325 downloads
  • Perfect for players who hate RLO's torch tint but love the rest

⚠️ Cons

  • Requires RLOInteriors as a base mod—won't work standalone
  • Only affects torches, not other light sources
  • Last updated in 2020, so may not be compatible with newer RLO versions
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim modders who use RLOInteriors but find the default torch color too warm or off-putting. If you're happy with RLO's torch lighting, you don't need this. Skip if you don't use RLOInteriors at all.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Load this patch after RLOInteriors in your mod order so it overrides the torch record.
  • Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to ensure proper file overwrite.
  • Check the mod's posts section for any user-reported compatibility notes with RLO versions.
