📋 About This Mod
One of our community members lost their daughter, Scarlet at age 1. After contacting him, this mod was created with his demand.
We put her at the very end of the game in Sovngarde, in hall of Valor - i chose this place specifically because this would make Scarlet only visible in Sovngarde, near the end of the game. This was the best surprise / prize our community member could have hoped for. Also, Sovngarde and Hall of Valor being the place where whorty people go in afterlife in Skyrim universe made this place the best choice overall.
Technically, she is both a child and a follower.. She'll be able to turn back to Skyrim with you after Sovngarde if this is what you wish. Like all children, she is essential in Skyrim.
Why Scarlet is also a follower? The adoption mechanics in Skyrim feels a lot to be desired. For example, you sadly can not take your children to trips or fun activities. They sadly always have to stay indoors. With making Scarlet a follower, we aimed to offer an unique adventure to our community member so they can go to road trips, visit some cities and most importantly, spend time together.
This mod does not make the children fight or do any unsuitable acts. The only thing it can do is to make the child follow you around and nothing else. I do not encourage you to take a child follower to any fight scenes anyway. Mod author or nexus mods does not encourage violance against children in any way.
The vanilla assets are very limited for children in Skyrim, so the children generally look very similar to each other. This is a limitation we want to change in future.
