📋 About This Mod
If you have ever played a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you may be familiar with the concept of renting a bath in a video game in order to clean yourself. This mod acts as an add-on to Jayserpa's wonderful mod, Dirt and Blood, which allows you to take advantage of such a feature in order to get fully cleaned.
With this mod, any NPC with the innkeeper job faction will have a new line of dialogue as an option when the player talks to them: "I'd like to rent a bath. (25 gold)". Using this option will cause the screen to fade to black, and the player will be fully clean (given the Recently Washed buff and having any dirty/bloody effects removed from them). This mod should add this dialogue option to any NPC with the JobInnkeeper faction, so this mod should work with other mods that add in new innkeepers out-of-the-box without needing any patches, so long as the mod author gave their innkeeper that faction.
That's really all there is to it. It's a lightweight, highly-compatible mod that allows users of Dirt and Blood to have a proper bath at any inn, which is particularly good for players who use Dirt and Blood's soap option in the MCM.
-Why don't I see the dialogue option when I talk to the innkeeper?
You probably have less than 25 gold on you. The option only appears when you can afford it.
-Why is it 25 gold?
Because the inn is providing soap and clean water, and they will have to clean up after you.
-Does this mod add any physical bathrooms to inns?
No. Reason for that is because compatibility would be a nightmare for mods that change the existing inns or add new ones. Just use your imagination. :) Maybe the inn has a trapdoor in the back somewhere that leads to a basement with the bath. It doesn't, but it could in your mind's eye.
-Does this mod have any requirements?
Just Dirt and Blood. (Technical rambling ahead, feel free to skip this if you want) Technically, Dirt and Blood is not even required as a master because this mod is entirely done via script and does not touch any assets from Dirt and Blood. Regardless, you should download Dirt and Blood, even if it is not required as a master. If you lack that mod, then you will basically just be able to ask innkeepers to knock you out for 2 seconds and charge you 25 gold for it...
