What is this mod about?
The PC and his buddies heal crazy fast in Vanilla Skyrim...largely circumventing the need for healing spells/items/potions.
This mod increases realism by slowing down healing for the PC and NPCs by 99%. You'll now absolutely need healing methods....or you could simply take a long nap to heal up.
If memory serves, Morrowind was like this.
ALL NPCs are affected by this! Basically, if it has a Black Soul = NPC!
IF YOU ONLY WANT THE PC TO BE EFFECTED, NOT THE NPCS:
Simply remove the ' Reduced Heal Rate for PC and NPCs_DISTR.ini' file from your Data folder once you are done installing (if using a mod manager).
Compatibility
Should be compatible with everything that DOESN'T lower HealRates! Otherwise, you risk stacking HealRate penalties!
So, for example, using this mod + Creation Club's Survival Mode, you'll have both mods HealRate penalties stack = even regen items/potions won't be able to give you passive healing!
If people care enough, I could make a compatible version for Survival Mode.
