📋 About This Mod
Introduction
This mod changes the existing Night Eye and Vampire's Sight spells to be more realistic by removing the blue tint, reducing the saturation by half, brightening the image and removing the radial blur. I've also altered the sound that is made when activating/deactivating the spell (the deactivation sound has also been replaced by the original sound that was supposed to be used by the game but the activation sound was selected instead by accident).
The fact that it only had 60 seconds of use made no sense so I increased it to 1,000,000 seconds (I could set it to 0 for infinite use but this results in the magic effect turning off instantly while the imod (visual effect) stays on until toggled off). This is basically over 30 in game years and also allows for the tracking of the magic effect in the active magic effects menu. This means you can freely toggle it on and off without worrying about using it sparingly.
A spell has been added upon loading a save that will allow you to modify the strength of Night Eye. It's called 'Night Eye Strength Adjust'. The spell can be removed after making adjustments via the console if you wish. I may make an option within the spell's message box that will allow you to remove the spell from there and perhaps an MCM menu in the future. Please let me know if you want this.
Standalone fixes have also been included for Night Eye, Vampire's Sight and Vision of the Tenth Eye (some of these fixes are built in to the main modules, please read further for more information).
This mod was originally made for Skyrim but has been checked for compatibility and reuploaded for Skyrim Special Edition. Thanks for the kind words and endorsements for the original mod 😉.
