📋 About This Mod
ilohF3crvg0
I created the RaySense - Edge Lookdown (1st Person) mod.
Depending on the height, your character will either casually look down below or raise their hands to get a better view from higher places.
As shown in the video, there are specific conditions required for the animations to trigger.
The medium height animation activates at heights of 300 or more,
while the high-level animation triggers at heights of 500 or more.
In both cases, the character must be positioned at the edge of a cliff or ledge.
Once all conditions are met, the animation will play automatically.
While the animation is playing, you can look up or down freely.
However, if you suddenly turn left or right, or start moving, the animation will be interrupted.
It’s a simple yet immersive addition, and I hope it brings more life to your Skyrim experience.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 351 endorsements and over 18k downloads.
- Adds immersive first-person reactions to cliff edges, making exploration feel more dynamic.
- Simple concept that enhances the game's realism without overhauling animations.
⚠️ Cons
- Limited to edge lookdown animations only—no other animation changes.
- May conflict with other first-person animation mods that alter similar states.
- Compatibility with other mods that modify player movement or camera is untested.
For players who want a subtle immersion boost when exploring heights, especially those who enjoy first-person roleplay. If you're looking for a full animation overhaul, this isn't it—it's a focused, niche addition.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if your game version is compatible with the mod's last update (April 2026).
- If you use other first-person animation mods, test them together to avoid conflicts.
- Load order usually doesn't matter for animation mods, but keep it consistent with other animation tweaks.
