Rain Extinguishes Fires  has one goal: To make fires respond to the world around them. If it is raining or snowing, fires will go out. If fires are struck with frost spells, they will go out. If fires are hit with fire spells, they will be relit. The idea is simple: Interacting more with the world leads to more immersion.

  []You can also relit the fires yourself by activating them (with an animation!) or by using a fire spell on them.[/]

• []Rain Extinguishes Fires has a few safeguards to not blow your save to Oblivion that you should be aware of:[/]

  []"Temporary" fires, like the ones placed by scripts or quest aliases are ignored.[/]

  []If a fire has an "Enable State Parent" or any "Enable State Children", then it won't be extinguished.[/]

  []DynDOLOD, based on the rules you use, can create its own fires. Because those fires do NOT have a static FormID, they have to be patched based on their EditorID, and thus require PowerOfThree's Tweaks in order to be found. This isn't a hard requirement, but you should use that mod either way.[/]

Configuration Files:

Rain Extinguishes Fires can be configured further based on your modlist. Create a JSON configuration file in Data/SKSE/Plugins/RainExtinguishesFires to get started.

Make sure that your Unlit object has the REF_OffController script attached (it comes with this mod).
