📋 About This Mod
If you're familiar with my mods, you know what I'm going to say already: I like when things match. I like when what I see in my inventory (or the chest I'm rummaging through, or the corpse I'm looting, etc) looks at least close to the end result of what's going to show up on my character or follower when I equip it. To that end, I've taken the original Peacekeeper Armour as created by Billyro and Artsick and ported to SE by LukeCypher, and fiddled with the meshes to make a male version of the armour.
You will need the original Peacekeeper Armour Special Edition Port installed for this patch to work. (Alternatively, there is a patch in the Optional Files section that you can apply to the CBBE Port if you prefer that version of the armour. Note that the patch will likely only work if you selected the ESPF (esl-flagged) version of the plugin during your FOMOD installation sequence. Since I don't use anything but the vanilla bodies I am unable to test whether or not that patch actually works in game, but given its simplicity I can see no reason why it wouldn't. Still, let me know if you run into any problems and I'll see what I can do.)
There is also a loose files version of the patch that you can download manually that contains nothing but the meshes! You will need to use the Creation Kit or SSEEdit to attach those meshes to the original mod (or wherever else you want to put them).
*The Revamped Textures work with these meshes as well; just go to the Oldrim Mod Page and download them, then let them overwrite the existing textures. It would be lovely if you would download and endorse the original mod anyway, whether you want to use those textures or not, in thanks to the original author for creating such gorgeous armour.
PERMISSIONS:
The same permissions from the original mod apply here: you can do largely whatever you want with these meshes provided that you credit all appropriate creators. All I ask specifically is that if you are uploading something that is primarily an outfit-mod (as opposed to a follower or quest mod incorporating these assets among many others) you make your credit for my work extremely clear. I have been accused before of "stealing" someone else's work when it was really them including my meshes (with permission!) in their mod, and I would rather avoid a repeat of that situation. Thank you.
LE Version: Perhaps billyro will add the meshes to the original mod in an update at some point, but for now you can find a port of this patch here! You can also add these meshes directly to the original mod if you want, just run them through nif optimizer first to convert them and then attach them to the original LE mod in the CK or xEdit.
Fancy Body Versions? [/
This is a mesh patch that adds a male version of the Peacekeeper Armour, originally created by Billyro and Artsick and ported to SE by LukeCypher. It requires the original mod and is designed for players who want the armour to fit male characters. The patch includes optional loose files and compatibility notes for CBBE and Revamped Textures.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fills a real gap—male players finally get a version of this popular armour that fits properly.
- Community-trusted with 176 endorsements and over 8,000 downloads, so it's been tested by many.
- Flexible install options: you can use the FOMOD patch or the loose files if you prefer manual control.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires the original mod as a dependency, so you can't use this standalone.
- The CBBE patch is untested by the author and may only work with the ESPF plugin version, so there's some risk if you use CBBE.
- Compatibility with other body mods or armour overhauls isn't guaranteed, so you might need to patch conflicts yourself.
For Skyrim players who love the Peacekeeper Armour but want it to look right on male characters. If you're a male character player or use male followers, this is a must-have. Skip if you're fine with the original unisex fit or don't use the armour at all.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Install the original Peacekeeper Armour first, then run the FOMOD installer for this patch and select the version that matches your original mod (SE or CBBE).
- If you use the loose files version, you'll need to open SSEEdit and manually attach the meshes to the armour records—this is advanced, so stick with the FOMOD if you're new.
- For Revamped Textures, download them from the Oldrim page and let them overwrite the existing textures after installing this patch.
