📋 About This Mod
NOTICE:
Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes now has a Skypatcher version, I recommend using that instead of one of my combo patches. That way, all you need is a combo patch for Water for ENB and your lighting mod, which more likely than not already exists elsewhere.
These patches provide conflict resolution for Water for ENB, Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes and popular lighting mods.
So far, there are patches for Lux, ELFX Shadows (Enhancer), ELFX Shadows (HARDCORE) and Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE).
The cell edits primarily prioritize the lighting mods edits , Water for ENB's cubemaps, and the acoustic records from
Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes.
Fixes from USSEP have been forward where necessary, but my patches do not require it.
My recommended load order:
Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes
(any Acoustic Space Fixes addons)
Lighting Mod
(lighting mod addons and patches)
Water For ENB
(W4ENB addons and patches)
W4ENB - AcousticSpaceFixes - Lighting Mod Patch
Main Requirements
Water for ENB v1. 71 or higher
(All patches made with the Shades of Skyrim option)
Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes v1. 2. 0
(The provided lighting patches from the FOMOD are not needed)
ELFX Shadows (Enhancer) Requirements
ELFX Shadows (ENHANCER option) v1. 4
Made for the Enhancer option, will only work with the ELFXEnhancer.esp from the ELFX Shadows FOMOD. Not to be used with standard ELFX Shadows or ELFX Hardcore. Will not work with the Realistic Water 2 or Sounds of Skyrim version of the Enhancer, it MUST be the standalone esp titled "ELFXEnhancer.esp".
Enhanced Lights and FX v3. 06
As per the ELFX Shadows instructions from its nexus page, do NOT install the ELFX Enhancer from the original ELFX FOMOD, you must use the Enhancer from the ELFX SHADOWS FOMOD.
ELFX Shadows (HARDCORE) Requirements
ELFX Shadows [/
Conflict resolution patches that merge cell edits from Water for ENB, Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes, and popular lighting mods. Supports ELFX Shadows (Enhancer and Hardcore), Lux, and Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE). A practical solution for modders combining these overhauls.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-trusted with 471 endorsements and over 202k downloads.
- Solves real conflicts between popular mods, saving you from manual xEdit work.
- Covers multiple lighting setups, so you can pick the patch that fits your load order.
⚠️ Cons
- Deprecated—no longer updated, so it may not work with newer mod versions.
- Only supports three lighting mods; if you use something else, you're out of luck.
- Requires you to have the exact mods installed, adding dependency management.
For Skyrim modders running Water for ENB alongside Acoustic Space Improvement Fixes and one of the supported lighting overhauls. If you're tired of flickering or missing edits from conflicting mods, this is a quick fix. Skip if you don't use these specific mods or prefer to manage conflicts yourself.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the exact mod versions the patches were built for, since the mod is deprecated and won't be updated for newer releases.
- Place these patches after all the mods they patch in your load order to ensure the edits apply correctly.
- Use a mod manager like MO2 to easily toggle patches on and off when testing different lighting setups.
