Palace of the Kings - West Wing expands the interior upstairs of the Palace of the Kings In Windhelm. Transforming it from a narrow corridor with small rooms to a large hallway, with spacious rooms, decadent details, and some secrets to be found.

I made this because I was growing frustrated with visiting Wuunfurth during Blood on The Ice and whenever I needed to stock up on gems and spells.

The area In vanilla feels uncomfortable to travel through, small narrow corridors, low roofs make me feel hemmed In, and even worse when In 3rd person the camera keeps hitting the walls and arches, making me feel disorientated, this forces me to enter 1st person, I like both 3rd and 1st, but I don't like being forced Into one or the other when exploring, furthermore the area Is even more frustrating when you have a follower...or several joining you. 😵‍💫

Places like Dragon's Reach and Understone Keep are very enjoyable to walk around In 3rd person

and 1st person because they are so vast, wide corridors and high ceilings, gives space to breathe and relax.

I originally wanted to have a nicer room for Wuunferth, fitting of a palace wizard, but then thought why not expand the area even more, So I decided to make this mod.

There are also many secrets and treasure throughout the area for you to explore, which aren't shown In the screenshots.

What does this do then?

It's a complete renovation of the upstairs01 cell. Expanding the area, bigger rooms, wider corridors, higher ceilings. New models have been made from vanilla ones for the walls etc.

The rooms have also been expanded and renovated into more decadent versions, especially Wuunfurth's room.

No longer does he have a tiny box, now he has a lounge area, bedroom with ensuite and a study. The other rooms now have guests In them, as well as Jorlief and the Cook having their own rooms. (that they should sleep In)

Navmesh has been redone to accommodate the rennovation.

There are a few small clipping objects with my mod and USSEP, mainly the banner above the door , I made a patch that disables It If you want. My mod functions fine without this patch.
