📋 About This Mod

Ordinator changes Mystic Binding's Editor ID, and then references it as a condition for the Mystic Binding perk to apply, so modded bound weapons don't get the Mystic Binding effect. Here's the kicker, Ordinator changes the Editor ID, but not the base game's reference ID so it just... changes the name, as well as the conditions to get the perk by changing another perk. BAE has the vanilla Mystic Binding perk as well, but it's making additions to it, so loading the mod after Ordinator would break the perk mod since it's all the same reference. So all I did was forward the records for the MGEF effect being applied into a new plugin, then copy Ordinator's new Mystic Binding perk into the same plugin, then it AUTOMATICALLY detected and changed what the modded weapons are referencing as a condition for the MGEF to apply, to the correct Ordinator condition.

Steps taken:

  • [] Copied all MGEF records for the modded MYSTIC bound weapons that aren't patched for Ordinator (Their condition looks for the vanilla Editor ID Mystic Binding perk being active, not the modded one).

[] Copied the perk called Mystic Binding from Ordinator, into the new patch.

[] Checked the MGEF conditions to see that it has applied the changes. This is NOT an overwrite, as the perk shares the same reference ID.

  • Removed the Ordinator perk from the plugin. This will keep the changes applied now that your modded mystic bound weapons know the new Editor ID.

That being said, DO NOT CLEAN THESE PLUGINS WITH SSEEDIT'S AUTO-CLEAN. It will completely undo all changes made because of the shared reference ID which also means the base mods cannot overwrite Ordinator because doing so would revert it's changes. This is my hacky workaround, hope you guys enjoy :D

Note: you can make these changes the exact same way in Vokrii if that's all you use, since it also uses the base game reference ID. SPERG is incompatible using the same method because it adds it's own copies of perks and spells to apply it's unique system.

These patches were made with Vokriinator.esp but are compatible with Ordinator, and are only compatible with Vokriinator Black if it uses Ordinator's Mystic Binding perk.
