📋 About This Mod
Tired of following Delphine only to find yourself constantly stopping to wait for her to catch up? Tired of trying to walk with an NPC only to have to switch to a jog to keep up? No more! This mod sets the walk and running speed of NPCs to that of the player. Now they can keep up with you when running and you can keep up with them when walking!
NPCs will now walk and run along side you at your own pace! No awkward stopping or slowing down, or speeding up when following someone! The annoyances from having a separate NPC and player speed are gone.
This mod works very simply by altering the global values fJogInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun and fFastWalkInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun. Nothing more nothing less! Every NPC in game or added from a mod will be affected by this mod! Now they can better keep up when you run (not sprinting) and you can keep up with them when walking. With these incredibly simple, clean lightweight changes you don't have to worry about any issues or bloating with scripts or plugins.
Enable, disable, install, uninstall, update, at anytime! There will be no lingering effects or problems!
Use what ever version fits your needs. Freely swap between them all mid playthrough should you need.
NPCs Run and Walk at Your Pace - Main Full Effect Edition
-
[] This is the original version still working perfectly after a decade now ESL flagged![/]
[]The global value of this is set to 1. 0. This gives the most accurate matching pace possible.[/]
-
[]This version is for those using True Directional Movement alongside my mod. You need this version over the original or you wont be able to sprint diagonally.[/]
[]The global value of this version is set to 0. 99. This allows it to function with TDM while retaining almost all of the matching pace. ESL flagged.[/]
[]Recommended version when playing with controller. When using either of the above versions you may notice a problem pressing the sprint button when playing with a controller/gamepad. It won't work, or you might have to press it twice. Some people have this issue while other might never see it. It varies based on controller. This is an unfortunate side effect of altering the fJogInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun global value. This version fixes that issue should you experience it.[/]
