Northbourne Maiden Skin CBBE

So, first off, I ain't no texture artist. But I do know enough about Paint.net to make me dangerous.

This mod is basically an early version of True North Maiden Skin that I've edited and merged with the normal maps from Tempered Skins. All credit goes to the authors of those mods, Fireapple and traa108, as this mod is mainly just combining their work. I really liked the diffuse textures from the V2 of True North Maiden Skin and I adore the normal map textures from Tempered Skins. So I decided to get the best of both worlds and combine them. I liked the results enough that I got permission from both mod authors to share my skin mashup with you all.

What is this?

It's a female skin retexture for CBBE bodies. This is my take on a female skin texture that retains a rugged and lore-friendly look while also not being outright filthy or making every woman look like a 5 star athlete. The skin has a lot of details such as blemishes, veins, a bit of grunge. But it's all to a moderate degree imho so the skin doesn't look out of place on a high elf character.

I found that mod other skin textures mods are either too clean and pristine (lets be real this is 99. 3% of them) or they go too far the other direction of mud baths and 8 packs.

I noticed right away with True North Maiden Skin that the tone of the skin is just perfect in my mod setup. Combine that with the amazing normal map textures from Tempered Skins and you have perfection. Most other skin textures are far too washed out with the lighter skin tones but these textures are perfect imho they match Skysight Skins very closely in tone.

I've also included my own mashup of wrinkle and complexion textures.

What this mod is comprised of?

Diffuse textures - from V2 of True North Maiden Skin. I've reduced the size to 4K, reduced saturation significantly, removed the pubic hair (because I didn't like how the hair texture looked not because it's more realistic) and removed eye textures from the head texture.

Specular textures - these are slightly edited seculars from version 2 of True North Maiden Skin

Normal map and SK textures - these are from Tempered Skins and cover the body normal maps as well as individual race's unique face normal map.

Detail Maps - I've included detail textures for rough complexion, freckles, age 40, and age 50. The rough complexion and freckles are from Tempered Skin and Bijin Skin. The age 40 and 50 wrinkle textures are from Realistic Old Age for Women
