📋 About This Mod
Update 3. 1. 2025
I recommend using PBR or Complex Material versions if they are available.
At the time of editing this these two were up:
Now to the description:
Skyrim has been using "fake" cubemaps (reflection on materials) for a long time, having static single image on reflecting surfaces.
Thanks to ENB, we now have (real time) Dynamic cubemaps to use.
This mod replaces static cubemaps from NordwarUAs armour mods with a single black pixel ones,
so that ENB can take over creating the cubemap instead.

Zero assets in this mod from NordwarUA, or anywhere else, just "blank" cubemaps.
I just replaced the cubemap textures with single pixel ones, that is it.
You can do same with any mod that uses modded cubemaps, to enable Dynamic cubemaps for ENB,
for vanilla (which most mods use) check the mod below I linked.
Does nothing without NordwarUAs mods.
You don't need all of them, but at least one.
Remember to enable in enbseries.ini
EnableDynamicCubemap=true
You can adjust the strenght and other stuff in interiors/exteriors/time of day, etc,
in the ini, if your enb preset doesn't have to those values tweaked already.
My preview shots are taken with default 1. 0 values.
Personally I have been pretty happy with just that, with my enb preset.
Regarding visuals, depends on your enb, settings, mods installed etc.
Safe to remove, so you can mix and match these with original cubemaps if you wish.
Not required, but recommended to have Dynamic cubemaps more widely:
Enb Dynamic Cubemaps
I can only show how these look at my end (Patrician ENB).
So feel free to upload your pictures, but please no full nudity or so.
Performance wise, I noticed no difference.
As stated above, you can easily apply this effect yourself,
but here is couple mods where the work is already done for you:
themilkdrinkers ENB Dynamic Cubemaps:
H2135 outfits support:
hoycids ENB Dynamic Cubemap Converter for the lazy (Batch file):
This mod replaces the cubemaps in NordwarUA's armour mods with blank versions, enabling ENB Dynamic real-time cubemaps for more realistic reflections. It also works with Community Shaders, making it a useful compatibility patch for visual enhancement mod users.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 452 endorsements
- High download count (230k) shows real demand
- Enables dynamic reflections for better visuals
⚠️ Cons
- Requires ENB or Community Shaders to work — not for vanilla players
- Only affects NordwarUA armour mods, so limited scope
- Last updated in 2023 — may not support newer mod versions
For Skyrim players who use ENB or Community Shaders and want their NordwarUA armours to have dynamic reflections. Skip if you play vanilla or don't use those visual overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have ENB or Community Shaders installed before adding this mod, or the armours will look flat.
- Load this mod after NordwarUA's armour mods in your mod manager to ensure the cubemap replacement takes effect.
- If you use both ENB and Community Shaders, check which one you prefer for reflections — this mod works with both.
