- Moonlight Tales Special Edition - Werewolf and Werebear Overhaul by Brevi, et al (link) (I made a patch for this mod to make werewolf form last forever. However I need permission to upload it since it includes modified versions of Moonlight Tales' scripts)
- Oldrim: Moonlight Tales - Werewolf and Werebear Essentials by Brevi, et al (link) (Yes, they work together, just delete PlayerWerewolfChangeScript in scripts folder in favor of Moonlight Tales SE's)
- Oldrim: Heart of the Beast - Werewolf Sound and Texture Overhaul (I only use the Alpha werewolf sounds file) by NsJones, et al (link) (Yes, the sounds work on Special edition)
- Moonlight Tales SE Unlimited Werewolf Duration Patch
No Werewolf Aggro SSE stops NPCs from attacking you in werewolf form, and makes wolves and other werewolves your allies. It's a standalone mod compatible with any werewolf overhaul, though it has a known issue with modded NPCs in towns. Last updated in December 2020, it has 295 endorsements.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community backing with 295 endorsements and over 12k downloads.
- Standalone design means it plays nice with popular werewolf overhauls like Moonlight Tales.
- Makes wolves and werewolves fight for you, which is a nice twist on the usual aggro.
⚠️ Cons
- No Dragonborn DLC support—so Solstheim will still have NPCs attacking you in werewolf form.
- Mod-added NPCs in towns can cause guards to attack them due to the friend system, which can break immersion.
- Last updated in 2020, so it might be stale for newer Skyrim SE versions.
For werewolf players who want to roam Skyrim without every guard and villager turning hostile. If you're running Moonlight Tales or similar overhauls, this is a must-have. Skip if you're playing on Solstheim or if you use mods that add lots of random NPCs to cities.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using Moonlight Tales, grab the recommended mods from the description for the full experience.
- Be careful with mods that add NPCs to major holds—they might trigger the guard aggro issue, so test in a city after installing.
- Since it's a standalone mod, you can load it anywhere in your load order, but placing it after werewolf overhauls is safest.
