No More Ugly Branches (Vanilla Branch Remover for - Reach Tree - Tundra Tree - Gildergreen - Swamp T

A mod that simply replaces the textures for reachtreebranch01.dds , reachtreebranch01_n.dds, tundradriftwoodbranches01.dds and tundradriftwoodbranches01_n.dds with blank textures. I made this mod for myself when I couldn't find a standalone solution to remove the branches without having to change my current mod list.

It can be installed or uninstalled in the middle of playthrough as it only edits the textures.

Compatibility

This mod is compatible with every landscape mod.

This mod is compatible with any tree mod that replaces the ugly dead branches but keeps the vanilla naming scheme for its new textures. (i.e. reachtreebranch01.dds , reachtreebranch01_n.dds, tundradriftwoodbranches01.dds and tundradriftwoodbranches01_n.dds )

Just make sure to load this mod after anything that uses or references the mentioned textures; otherwise, the ugly branches will remain.

If you use mods that alter or replace the ugly branches with new textures but uses different file names or locations from that of vanilla, this mod will technically work but you will still see the dead branches added by whatever tree mod you are using regardless of where this mod is in your loadorder. 

If you encounter dead branches when you have a tree mod installed and you would like me to create a mod to remove them, let me know what tree mod you are using, where the dead branches you want removed are and attach screenshots so I can be sure. These mods will be uploaded separately on Nexus as the scope of this mod is the ugly, vanilla branches - not improved branches added by other modders.

If you are using a mod that edits trees but still encounter annoying, ugly branches in some places, such as the Gildergreen Tree in Whiterun, this mod should be able to remove those branches without any issues or conflicts, as it uses blank textures.

If you want something that improves the look of all branches, this mod will not be suitable. Consider checking out Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants or similar alternatives.
