What does this mod do?
This mod allows you to turn the level up menu off and on with two simple papyrus functions. It was developed for SkyValor to limit the amount of Health, Stamina and Magicka you get, but I didn't include it. Now I decided to make it a standalone mod, so people can use it and/or include it into their own mod.
Once the level up menu is deactivated and you open the skill screen, your level will be advanced and a perk point is added as usual.
NoLevelUpMenu consists of two parts.

No Level Up Menu - SKSE is a Skyrim mod that prevents the Level Up Menu from appearing when you level up, using two new Papyrus functions. It includes a standalone mod for immediate use and is designed for modders and players who want to control level-up prompts. With 314 endorsements and 70,950 downloads, it's a niche utility for Skyrim modding.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community trust with 314 endorsements and 70,950 downloads.
- Gives modders a clean way to suppress the level-up prompt via Papyrus.
- Standalone version means you can use it right away, no extra mods needed.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires SKSE, so it won't work on console or without the script extender.
- If you're not a modder, the Papyrus functions are useless—it's purely a utility.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that also manipulate the level-up menu or use SKSE functions.
For Skyrim modders who want to disable the level-up menu in their own mods or for players who want a no-frills way to skip that popup. If you're not into modding or don't mind the menu, this isn't for you.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure SKSE is installed and launched via skse_loader.exe, not the default launcher.
- If you're using a mod manager, install the standalone version and load it after other mods that affect leveling.
- For modders, check the included Papyrus functions in the Creation Kit to see how to call them in your scripts.
