NMZ'S NITHI 202X - The Companions

The mod overhauls Kodlak, Skjor, Farkas, Vilkas, Aela, Athis, Ria, Njada, Torvar and Tilma the Haggard.

This is a complete rework of my old NITHI Companions mod, which I removed from Nexus because it had some issues.

I have worked on the faces a lot, smoothed imperfections in the meshes, and reached a point where I am happy.

High Poly Head if required so that Expressive Facial Animations work. You will need both, this is non-negotiable.

NPC installations fully modular. You can take one, two or all of them.

Every NPC (except Tilma) has 4 variants.

Every NPC (except Tilma) has war paint on/off options in the installer.

REQUIREMENTS

  Please note that how the NPCs look in-game will depend on things like graphics settings, skin mods, ENB settings, weather and lighting mods, as well as light conditions. I am using BnP Skin, Obsidian weathers, Pi-Cho ENB (tweaked to my liking), and LUX.

  Recommendation: This mod looks best with a skin texture mod. Vanilla skins don't look good.

  My recommendation will always be BnP Female Skin and BnP Male Skin since NITHI series is built to work best with it.

  If you PC is a potato, try the 2K textures or downscale them to 1K if you need to, using something like CAO.

    [] Download the Main mod file. Choose install options.

    []Install & make sure the Plugin is loading late. Vortex users may need to set the plugin group to "late loader".

    []Play!

    IMPORTANT NOTE IF UPDATING: Back up your save.

    I have not managed to break my testing save by switching around versions, but it doesn't mean it can't happen. MO2 users usually have less issues with this than Vortex users. But in all cases, back up your save and proceed carefully.

    I recommend uninstalling the old version fully, run a new game (spawn one of the Companions in using console to check they are defaulted - for example press the tilde key and write "player.placeatme 1a6d7" - that will spawn in Ria) then install this mod, and then return to your usual save.
