This was something I created for myself to use with ESkyrim's reversed dual daggers animations.

Figured I would release it for other s who might like to play with it.

What this mod does:

This mod is stand alone and does not require resources from any of my eariler mods to work.

Plug in is flagged .esl

It adds 3 new craftable reversed daggers to the game which can be improved using resources from my eariler mods.

Aragon's Dagger

Aragorn's Dark Dagger

Tauriel's Dagger

They require ebony smithing perk to craft and mirror ebony stats.

They can also be obtained using additem menu mod.

They do not require ESkyrim's animations but work very well with them.

How I implemented them in my own game:

Since I have Aragorns daggers and Tauriels daggers in my game I wanted to have different animations for the flipped variants in this mod.

I set the custom conditions of Eskyrim's MCO animations like this:

IsActorBase("Skyrim.esm"|0x000007) AND

IsEquippedRightType(2) AND

IsEquippedLeftType(2) AND

IsEquippedRightHasKeyword("Nicos Reversed Daggers.esp" | 0x000D65)

This way the ONLY weapons that will use the reversed dagger animations are from this mod, and normal daggers can use a different animation more fitting for their style.

Known Issues:

The handle is the central point so when unequipped the blade will be sticking out the other direction.

I solved this by using Racemenu with XPSE to reposition the daggers vertically in a location that would work for both normal and reversed blade orientations.
