UPDATE 1. 12: Added standalone files for each dragon, and a performance/optimized pack with half sized textures.

Long story short: NEXT GEN DRAGONS is a full high-poly, high-resolution dragon overhaul designed to bring Skyrim’s dragons up to a new level. It is also a love letter to the creatures that make Skyrim -as well as any fantasy story- so special and to the characters we know and love since we were kids.

The models are now much higher poly, with new anatomical details, textures that have double de resolution of the original ones (if you are concerned about this, there is an optimized/performance version with textures the same size as vanilla), and have got parallax textures, enviromental mapping, and glowy eyes, all highly detailed, modeled with blender and painted with substance painter.

In 2026, the original dragons present in the game can look a bit dated, with low polycounts and low resolution textures.  This mod is a mesh and texture replacer. It will make the dragons higher quality and fit in a heavily modded or graphically updated game.

SO: No patchers like PGpatcher are needed.

Believe it or not, it doesn't cause a noticiable performance loss as it is (just download It and test it!) . The way the nifs are configured makes sure of this, since they are scenes composed by many pieces of low polycount each; glued together
