Compatibility
Custom Skills Framework
NSM will auto convert the custom skills but you have to choose in which menu you gonna use it,
so I reaaaaaally recommend you to use only NSM and convert how you gain xp for the NSM API instead of use the CSF ?
Skyrim Skill Uncapper
Is recommended if you want to pass lv 100 in vanilla skills.
Perks Overhauls are compatible
Incompatibility
Every single mod that uses the vanilla skill menu UI or make changes to it ?
Also doesnt work with gamepads for now
God bless ❤️
F. A. Q

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 327 endorsements and over 8,000 downloads.
- Deep customization for perk trees—perfect for overhauling gameplay.
- In-game editor means you can tweak trees without restarting the game.
⚠️ Cons
- Incompatible with every other skill menu mod—you'll have to pick one.
- Requires Skyrim Skill Uncapper to go past level 100, which is an extra dependency.
- Heavy reliance on JSON editing might intimidate casual players.
For Skyrim modders who want total control over perk trees and leveling. Also for players who enjoy creating custom skill systems. Skip if you're happy with vanilla perks or don't want to fiddle with JSON files.
💡 Beginner Tips

- If you're converting from Custom Skills Framework, make sure to choose NSM as your menu and convert XP gain to NSM API.
- Check the mod page for gamepad support—use Mouse Mode if you want gamepad compatibility.
