Names for the Nameless

While a few of the Creation Club creations include pets, many of them have no name, and it's something that always irked me. I took some time to come up with, at least in my opinion, decent names - which you can see below, along with the inspiration behind the name.

Bone Wolf ~ Chaucer

Named after the poet Geoffrey Chaucer. The quest in this creation is called Let Sleeping Wolves Lie, which is of course a reference to the phrase "let sleeping dogs lie", which was effectively first written by Geoffrey Chaucer in his circa 1380 poem Troilus and Criseyde, where he wrote, "It is nought good a slepyng hound to wake."

In addition to Chaucer, I've also named the two hostile Thrall Wolves in the quest - they are now Troilus and Criseyde, after the aforementioned poem.

Dwarven Armored Mudcrab ~ Armurtha

Calcelmo says he found the mudcrab in his excavations, which I assumed meant in Nchuand-Zel. Nchuand-Zel is of course home to Nimhe, "The Poisoned One". Nimhe is Irish for poisonous, so I thought the Irish word for armored would make a fitting name. Thus I give you Armurtha, "The Armored One".

Nix-Hound ~ Scrounger

Named after the Nix-Hound's Scrounger perk (the perk the hound has so it can occasionally find you items). Technically the Dwarven Armored Mudcrab also has a scrounger perk, but I named the Nix-Hound first, so...

Manic Elytra Nymph ~ Thadon

Named after the Shivering Isles' Duke of Mania.

Demented Elytra Nymph ~ Syl

Named after the Shivering Isles' Duchess of Dementia.

Each file changes the name of the pet, as well as changing the name of any applicable spells/perks/messages attached to said pet. Each file requires its respective creation, use as many or as few as you have or want. All files are compatible with the Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches, and all files are flagged as ESLs. Enjoy! Let me know if there's any issues.
