Rather than posting yet another comment on the I'm walkin' here modpage asking for an update to the new Skyrim version I just did it myself.

I will most likely not add any more updates to this other than maybe bugfixes or support for new Skyrim versions if there are more to come.
Mum's the Word NG converts the original Mum's the Word mod to CLib-NG, creating a single .dll that works across all Skyrim SE versions, including AE 1.6.629+ and VR. It removes the stolen tag from worthless items you steal, as long as no one notices. A must-have for stealth players who hate stolen tags on junk.
