📋 About This Mod
Mostly Treeless Tundra removes vanilla trees from this area in order to make the tundra truly treeless. I love what this mod does, but unfortunately it only offers a patch for Happy Little Trees.
I play with many other mods that put their own trees in the Tundra, and thus in a sense mar the aesthetic of a treeless tundra. I created a number of patches
for each of these mods. The patches are modular and each is an ESL, so that you can pick only the ones you need. They remove trees,
fallen trees, and driftwood. Mods patched include:
-
[]Skyrim 3D Trees & Plants
[
]JK's Skyrim[]JK's Whiterun Outskirts
[]Northern Scenery - Whiterun Tundra (BOS version)
[]Ryn's Bleakwind Basin
[]Ryn's Standing Stones
[]Fuzzbeed's Hamvir Dustman
[]Evil Dead Trees
[]Realistic Treeline
Nov 23 update:
JK's Whiterun Outskirt and Skyrim 3D Trees & Plants have been updated with more trees and logs removed.
NEW PATCHES for

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge download count (1.5M) shows it's a go-to for Tundra tree removal.
- Active maintenance (updated Nov 2024) means it's likely compatible with current mods.
- Simple purpose: if you want a treeless Tundra, this is the patch hub to grab.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 302 endorsements compared to 1.5M downloads—maybe not everyone's favorite, but still solid.
- Requires the base mod 'Mostly Treeless Tundra' and other mods to patch—not standalone.
For Skyrim players who use mods that add trees to the Tundra but want to keep it treeless. If you're running a setup with tree mods and want consistency, this is essential. Skip if you don't care about Tundra trees or don't use the base mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the base mod 'Mostly Treeless Tundra' installed first, then add this patch hub.
- Load order matters: place this patch after other tree mods to ensure it overrides their changes.
- Check the mod page for a list of supported mods—if your tree mod isn't listed, it might not be patched.
