Missives - Stuck Journal Quest Fix

This patch should fix the "Track Down" Objectives in missives from becoming stuck in your journal forever after Completing or Failing them.

I did some tinkering into missives and discovered that some of these quests don't have the conditions "Completed" or "Failed" set in their quest stages, as miscellaneous quests this doesn't matter but if you use a mod that changes these into side quests this will be a problem; If you use any mods that do that, you will need this patch.

Troubleshooting:

This won't fix any stuck quests you have straight away, however If you install this mid save; you will need to use the console in game to remove the stuck quests.

Before you do this make sure your character is outside of an interior. (Be out in the world or outside in a city)

For quests completed use the command:- setstage _m_quest<Hold>track<Target> 100

For quests failed use the command:-  setstage _m_quest<Hold>track<Target> 105

<hold> equals "Whiterun/Falkreath/Haafingar/Reach/Eastmarch/Hjaalmarch/Rift/Winterhold/Pale"

<Target> equals "Vampire/Fugitive/Thief"

Make sure the IDs have no spaces

For example:

I want to complete a "track fugitive quest in whiterun" I will type in the console below:-

setstage _m_questwhiteruntrackfugitive 100

If you don't know or can't find the quest that's stuck, use "help _m_quest" to find it.

Compatibility:

My main patches only affects the 3 types of Track Down quests from missives nothing else.

Make sure my changes load after other missive patches in your load order.

Missives - Voice and Quest Expansion is compatible, however, it's best placed after my patches in your load order.

I would highly recommend making a consistency patch if you want to use my patch alongside other mods that use missives as a master.

There is a patch for Headhunter - Bounties Redone users can use instead of the regular one, It carries over all of Missileman's Quest Edits so you don't need their patch - make sure to go endorse both!
