Missives Experience Patches

I really like Lexy's Legacy of the Dragonborn modlist (and cannot recommend it enough to anyone who's willing to learn the tools needed to install it-it's a great version of Skyrim to play if you're looking for something that's well tested and current). I also really like Requiem's general balance of the game and unlevelled world. Unfortunately there is no quick way to put these two wonderful things together. So I've muddled together something of my own. I've been able to 'borrow' some of Lexy's patches to that end, and I'm glad I could.

One thing I learned from using her guide is adjusting the quest types of the missives quests in order to get Experience to give varying awards for them. I would have used her patch, but her list includes Bounties Redone and Headhunter, and her patch includes esps from them as masters. Instead, I spent an afternoon patching Missives and Missives - Worldspace Additions in similar fashion. There is another mod on Nexus that gives more Character XP from Missives quests by setting all of them to Side Quests, and of course if you have the prerequisites you could just use Lexy's patch, but since I couldn't find a mod that gives some differentiation among them, and only requires Missives and Worldspace Additions, I thought I'd upload my esps and maybe save you some time.

Lexy's Missives patch is here if you want to check it out, but without Wyrmstooth, Bounties Redone, and Headhunter, you're not going to get very far with it. The latter two are fine mods, I just opted not to use them this time.

There's also an Experience.ini file here that's been weighted in a sensible fashion (I'll get to why that's important shortly), but most of these files are patches for her list and will not be of much use to you unless you're using it.

Again, I strongly recommend it. Even if you choose to go another direction, it's worth learning the tools, particularly SSEEdit, so that you can make patches like this for yourself.

Get Skill Experience With Experience:

This is not required, though you may want it. I wanted to still get some Character XP from ranking up skills, so I made that mod (with a fair bit of help understanding how it all worked). I started with the weighting from Lexy's Experience.ini file and made further adjustments, so if that would be of value, check it out.
