What is this?

This mod removes vanilla weapons from the list of potential quest items from the weapon delivery quests in Missives, and replaces them with this mod's weapons. The weapons are all iron and steel tier, so essentially low level stuff.

They use whatever weapon mesh or texture replacers you have installed for iron and steel tier.

It was a request posted on the comments section of one of my other mods (Missives - Don't Use Normal Potions). Weapon delivery quest objects were sometimes being accidentally scrapped using mods like Ars Metallica, which would lead into an unfinishable/failed quest.

How was it done?

I made copies of a bunch of iron and steel tier weapons (except exotic weapons and tools like the scimitar, mining pick and the woodcutter's axe) with unique Editor ID's, so the game sees them as different things. I also removed unnecessary keywords, but kept the weapon type keyword so the player can still use them if need be and have perks and animations (like if you've got special animations for OAR, for example) will still work. Like if you need to use the Missives quest item in an emergency or something, they'll still function as weapons. But otherwise you shouldn't be able to accidentally lose it in an irretrievable way.

Unlike what I did with the potions, there are no cheeky little flavour text things in this one. They're just weapons.

Installation, Compatibility, Etc.

[]It's a patch for and requires Missives. Simply install it and load it after Missives.

[]You can install this without starting a new game, however, if you've already taken a quest to deliver a weapon, that weapon will not magically change into one of these new weapons, sadly. You'll need to take a new quest before you start seeing them.

[*]It should be safe to uninstall any time unless you currently have a weapon delivery quest. If you uninstall it then, the weapon will disappear. It shouldn't cause any crashes or anything, but the quest will fail and you will not be able to recover the weapon even with c
