Mion - Out of Time (Storybook version)Text summary:
Mion spent the early years of her life as an Agent of Sithis, but in pursuit of power, she knowingly aided the Daedric Princes in their meddling affairs as well. These exploits did not go unnoticed by her comrades, and they bestowed upon her the title, "The Black Queen".
Due to a double cross fueled by jealousy, she was left for dead in the depths of an unremarkable cave, while multiple Daedric Princes fought for ownership of her soul as she lay bleeding out.
An intervention from a mysterious and powerful order saved her while she was seconds away from death, but not without securing an agreement first: she was to complete a task that could only be entrusted to her. As she was in no position to bargain, she agreed; but before hearing the details of the task, she passed out cold.
Mion awoke to find herself in a strange cabin in the woods. The last words she heard before she opened her eyes were "We will call for you again when the time is right. For now, be prepared." She was genuinely dumbfounded over the fact that she survived, and all her wounds had miraculously healed in what felt like a night of sleep. Putting on her mask to prevent unwanted attention for her strange but unique looks, she made a beeline for the nearest town; only to realize that she had left her old world behind... two eras ago.
