📋 About This Mod

"MORTALS DEFINE VALUE"

— Gibber Inscription

Coins and currency often serve as an interesting lens into different peoples and their culture. Despite there being a wide array of cultures in the Elder Scrolls, the septim is often the only currency you ever interact with. This mod seeks to change that by giving you the option to add new types of currencies to the game that you'll need to manage alongside gold septims.

M. I. N. T. makes use of the Currency Swapper framework to distribute new fully functional currencies to various locations across the game. While in these locations you will need to barter with the new currency rather than with septims!

The new currencies have each been given their own separate module, selectable in the FOMOD. You can use as many or few as you wish.

Following the Red Year, Morrowind was devastated by the destruction wrought upon it. When they most needed aid, the Empire abandoned the Dunmer people, leaving them to fend for themselves. With limited resources and dwindling gold, a new coin of iron, the dram, was minted to usher the nation into a new era.

[]Distributes drams across the island in addition to the septim.[/]

[]Adjusts prices to simulate the dram's value relative to the septim.[/]

In the heart of the Stormcloak Rebellion, Windhelm seeks to assert its independence from the Empire. As part of this effort, the city is phasing out the traditional septim in favor of a new currency: ulfrics.

The Aldmeri Dominion is a new political power led by the Thalmor, who believe that elven supremacy is the only acceptable future for Tamriel. They have rejected the use of the septim and have began trading in sancar, a new gold coin of their own design.
