📋 About This Mod
Complete overhaul of bashes for 3rd person.
This Mod overhauls all bashes for 3rd person. 1st person gameplay is unaffected by this mod (except for some minor bug fix). It is split into 3 parts that work independent of each other or together - light bashes, power bashes and NPC bashes.
The animations are made to look best with the animations from Dynamic Block Hit.
It also adds new block idle animations and blockhit animations for Claymores and Greatshields.
Light bashes:
- consistent behavior across all weapon classes (e.g. hit frame timing, animation length, ...)
- new animations that match elden parry for all weapon classes (Vanilla Skyrim's bash animations are still compatible)
- other minor changes to behavior; e.g. it is no longer possible to switch during a light bash to a power bash
- also fixes the incompatability with precision for dual wield bashes for 3rd and 1st person
- new block idle animations and blockhit animations for Claymores and Greatshields
Power bashes:
- new telegraphed animations for all weapon classes using AMR (Vanilla Skyrim's powerbash animations are incompatible)
- attack annotations are now mainly stored in the animations, similar to MCO.
NPC bashes:
- completely new behavior
- NPC bashes are now separated from player bashes (works only for human NPCs for now)
- NPCs no longer distinguish between light and power bashes
- new telegraphed animations for all weapon classes using AMR (I reused the animations from the power bash part of this mod)

- install all requirements
- install this mod
- run Nemesis or Pandora
For the power bash version:
Set bEnableShieldGuardBash = true and bEnableWeaponGuardBash = true in EldenParry.ini.
For the NPC bash version:
Set bEnableNPCParry = false in EldenParry.ini.
It will work with bEnableNPCParry = true, but the animations will look off.
If you want NPCs to parry your attacks and good looking animations only install the light bash version (and power bash version) of this mod.
- uninstall this mod
- run Nemesis or pandora
You can uninstall this mod at any time.
Compatability:
Not compatible with Vanguard because they basically do the same thing.
Not compatible with Elden Parry Dual Wield Fix because this mod already includes this fix.
lSmoothl for Dynamic Block Hit and giving me permission to use parts of his animations to make this mod
